I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted. We had my bridal shower on July 2nd, 2006 and about 11 or 12 people showed up. It was kinda dissapointing that people whosaid they were coming did not show and I was very surprised that someone I didn't think would come arrived!!! It was an old high school friend and I was in her wedding back a few years ago. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to see she was pregnant again with her 2nd baby. Ironically, her due date is 2 weeks after I get married!! I know she will not be able to make it to the wedding but she said she would come to the reception in Sandusky as well as connecting together, just us girls and catch up. It was really nice seeing her and her litt girl Lauryn. I loved everything I received and had to send pics to Isak so he could also see what i got. With the gift cards, I told him we can get the grill at Target. I wanted to get it before his friends arrived to help with the cooking. Afterwards, we can get the deep freezer I wanted, and who knows what else. maybe the other new couch hahah. we got a sofa but need a matching love seat.
I should get back to work so I can leave early :)

I was going thru my old emails and wanted to post this. It was the email announcement to my friends and family that Isak and I got engaged.

Hello everyone!!! I Just wanted to share some exciting news!!!!Isak and I are engaged!!! It happened on July 3rd on a romantic beach herein Malmö, Sweden. We were camping out and walked to the beach where you could see the bridge to Denmark. The sun was setting on the ocean and we were just gazing out to the water. I told Isak i wanted to take a picture but then the batteries were dead. so he handed me the camera and i heard a funny noise. I thought it was broken. I opened it up and there was the ring!!! We just got back from Copenhagen, and today we will be spending part ofthe day here in malmö and also Ystad where we are going to see the Swedish standing stones calle Ales Stenar. Please don't tell my mom and dad. I am trying to call them but the 6 hourdifference makes it hard. Love to you all and I will see some of you in a couple weeks!!!

I ended up calling my parents the following weekend and my mom thought we actually got married when we were in Sweden haha. Well.... 9 weeks and counting until we get married. I sent out all the invitations, I think. I pray I didn't forget anyone and if I did, I AM SO SORRY!!!!
